Internships & Contracted Work
During my time at Iowa State, I have taken advantage of several multi-media work opportunities. Though my emphasis has primarily been photography, I have also showcased and grown my social media marketing, SEO, video, and brand management skills.

Iowa State Admissions
From 2020-2023, I was a student photographer for Iowa State Admissions. I covered sporting events, campus activities, orientations, and staff headshots. These images were used for social media and digital marketing.

Ivy College of Business
I was hired in 2022 as a student photographer for the Ivy College of Business. I work alongside members of the marketing team to help craft and curate the digital presence of the business college. My work has been featured online, in the college magazine, and on large-scale printed materials.

The Des Moines Register
In 2021, I was hired as a contributing photographer for the Des Moines Register. Throughout the football season, I developed photo galleries of the Iowa State home tailgates to be published on their website.

Cheerie Lane Popcorn
In 2022, I was hired as a media intern for Cheerie Lane Popcorn, a start-up popcorn company with roots in Iowa. During my time as an intern, I worked on influencer outreach developments, SEO and web management, and content creation. My primary task was to create unique TikTok videos that illustrated the essence of the brand to assist Cheerie Lane in further developing their social media presence.

Letter with Lauren Liz
In 2020, I interned for Lauren Gifford, founder of the art company "Letter with Lauren Liz." I assisted her by developing visual brand marketing materials for her through creative photography shoots and by shooting B-Roll content for her youtube channel.

Schonert's Corporate Catering
I spent a semester in 2024 as the Photojournalism Coordinator for Schonert's Corporate Catering, a small business in Ames, IA, that specializes in breakfast and lunch catering services for corporate clients. I was tasked with rebranding the visual presence of this business.
